Nikon SMZ Turret Zoom Vintage Stereoscopic Dissection Microscope 10X. PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION. It is an SMZ model Nikon microscope, but we were unable to find enough information to determine which specific type. It includes two 10X eyepieces. The microscope is in great condition for it’s age. There a some light scratches and scuffs in the paint on the microscope base and body. The eyepieces have a small amount of smudging on each and could probably use a little cleaning. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. We tested the microscope using a manual light source to examine writing on a piece of paper. The optics are clear and the adjustment knob focuses properly. All of the knobs turn smoothly and hold well. We were able to adjust the zoom between 20X and 40X total magnification without any issues. We have multiples of this item. The item shown in the photos may not be the exact one that you receive.
