This is a real human skull, officially prepared as a medical specimen for use as a teaching aid. It has been in the family for roughly 40 years, though the actual age of the skull is unknown. Please review all photos. The top of the skull has a hole drilled into it for hanging, and two hooks so the top may be removed. The jaw has pins for a spring, however the spring has been removed, and the jaw is not attached. Some teeth are missing, most are broken due to the age. There is red paint on the side of the skull, and a spot of grey acrylic paint at the bottom. The photos are the best indication. The skull is in otherwise very good shape.
