Wonderful vintage SOMSO eyeball model c. These models were made in Germany and completely hand painted with great detail. This one measures 8″ tall with the stand, the eye being approximately 3.3/4″ in diameter. It is marked on the base’SOMSO’ along with their logo. Also, on the underside, it is marked,’D. 1644830′ and another smaller mark with the numbers’66′ and’37′? The condition is quite good for its age, and I believe it is complete. Has some small surface dings, but nothing major. However, I believe the eyeball has been re-attached at some point. Please look carefully at all the pictures, as they do a better job of describing condition. Wonderful and rare vintage SOMSO model from the estate of a local optometrist.
