This vintage Hoffman Electrolysis System “Quack Medicine” device and accessories are in good condition but do show signs of age and light use. The beautiful yellow bakelite top is intact and only missing one screw. The main operating arm is in excellent condition though several of the wires have come loose from their mounts. These could be repaired by removing the tiny bolts holding them on, though I have not made an attempt to do this myself. Of note, “new old stock” replacement wires are included in this grouping. The adjustable light fixture included here has had it’s internal wiring cut short, but still assembles together and mounts nicely on the operating arm…. Making quite a display! The original case is clean considering it’s age though has sports of wear in it’s outer covering and the internal compartment lid is slightly warped. The original leather handle on the case’s lid is suffering from dry rot, though it is stable and displays nicely. This is a truly stunning piece that would be right at home in an antique medical collection or a “Metropolis” style sci-fi film!
