Vintage Metal First Aid Tin Box. Found in Factory/Industrial places. Dimensions; 19cm x 14cm x 6cm (L x W x D) approx. Sliding locking mechanism on front. Advice on First Aid Factories Act c1961 Pamphlet. Item has age related marks – pls see photos. Item shows signs of wear. Items are vintage/ antique or pre- owned, therefore will show signs of age. The label on the inside of the lid is dated to 2/39, which I I understand indicates it dates from February 1939. The black painted metal trunk measures approximately 17.5″ x 7.5″ x 6.5 and bears the crest of George VI. Was established in the English royal household in 1378 to oversee the building and maintenance of the royal castles and residences. It was reconstituted as a government department in 1851 and became part of the Ministry of Works in 1940.
