Early vintage Nervo-Scope by electronic development laboratories. Model AD type P. It centers out and when each side is touched, the needle moves to the corresponding side. Serial number appears to be B8521. Paint is excellent and the chrome as very good too. Contacts have a small bit of greening due to storage. Comes with original case is used condition. This particular unit is not made anymore, does not need batteries like the new ones that require them to function, this nervoscope has manufacture technology that measures the temperature (thermocouples) (heat) differential without batteries. This particular item goes back to the Gonstead Era of Chiropractic, Nervoscope, Porcelain Model STS, Type P, Used and Great Condition, with Case, Runs Great Mechanically. There are over 10,000 students in the chiropractic colleges currently in the United States. Thousands of students are graduating every year, it’s all based on supply and demand. These vintage rare nervoscopes, if you can find one are made of porcelain and quality metal’s not plastic and are battery-less. Vintage Gonstead Digital Temposcope Easy to Read Original Owner FREE SHIPPING

I hope you won’t hold this against me. Horeb while attending a seminar by Drs. Doug and Alex Cox and Jim Stoner in 1981. The FDA was giving them a hard time with the name “nervoscope” so they replaced the name with temp-o-scope. ” With the Gabriel Digitrend they could get away from the “Nervoscope issue all together. Although it’s named the Gabriel Digitrend, we all called it a Digiscope. As you can see from the first 3 photos, it’s in good working order. The two 9v batteries are not included. It’s been in storage for a few years since retirement and the inner lining of the case has completely deteriorated (please see photo 10), but it can easily be replaced with foam of your color choice. The name tag that you see in the 4th photo goes on the front of the case with glue if you prefer to re-glue it. Please note that the two wire units that hold the prongs together while in storage are a little discolored. You only use one. The other is an extra. They work fine as you can see in the photos. The original screwdriver as seen in the 6th photo also comes with the unit.
