Vintage Burton manufacturing Co. Chicago USA Anesthetic Medical Equipment in Purple velvet Lined Box. Wooden Box with black lined exterior has signs of age and wear at corners, leather handle is broken on the front (photo 6 & 7). The inside purple velvet has age discoloration, a small tear in the velvet in the lower right corner and the piece attached to the lid has come unglued (photo 12). Some pieces are missing from the box. Some Pieces are marked BURTON MFG CO. CHICAGO USA PAT MAR 20 1934 NO 1951423 (photo 9 & 10). Box measures 11 1/2″ x 11″ x 2 3/4. Weighs 3 pounds 3 ounce (prior to packaging). NOTE: It sounds like there is a loose piece of wood in the box under the lining. Possible a piece of the frame from the inside of the box. I can hear it when I shake the box. We are not antique dealers, collectors or experts. We describe the item along with any flaws and markings we can find the best we can.
