For sale – 1 – Buckbee Mears Soil Testing Micro Mesh Sieve Set. 4 sieves, sizes 5, 10, 20 & 30 microns with a pan and lid for testing soils. The set is contained in a shaped wooden box with a sliding lid with 3 finger holes. The sieves are 3 models. If nothing else, they are a vintage set for a collector of engineering and testing devices and tools. The box is 8-1/2″ long x 4″ wide x 3-1/2 tall. It appears to have been made out of very thin hardwood and is pretty well jointed but nailed together. I believe it to be original to the set.
