Lot of 170+ Vintage. Surgical/Operating Room Instruments &. Paraphernalia of All Sorts. Outfit Your Private-Practice Clinic or O. In One Fell Swoop. I do not know their precise age. It came with no information or provenance. But, as shown in the video, there is a hint. One of the storage boxes has a 1969 mailing label addressed to M. Of Santa Monica, California. Johnson passed in 2014, so it’s my guess that all this equipment was from his own surgery — tools and paraphernalia accumulated over many years of practice. There are all sorts of: sterile storage containers, forceps, scissors, tissue retractors, clamps, blade holders, suture needles, sharps, syringes, thumb forceps, “mosquitoes, ” as well as a set of plaster cast tools: handsaw, spreader, and shears. Also plenty I cannot identify: what appear to be tiny surgical scoops, perhaps urethral sounds, and other things. I see about 173 pieces — NOT counting lids, etc. And, in addition to that, you ALSO have.. As pictured in the video (but not in the photos), there is a box of additional pieces — forceps, scalpels, syringes, etc. – that are IN ADDITION TO the 170+. These are NOT in as good condition — items that have some tarnish and moisture damage. I’m throwing them in since they’re from the same estate. Use them if you can, or else toss them. A: Only what appears in the photos is included. What you see is what you get. Here you have my best good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind, though, that vintage/antique items always show their age — Don’t we all! ? — so please expect that there will be something about this item (or lot) that’s not perfect. Even if it’s “mint” or “new-old-stock, ” it will still be somehow touched by Father Time. All in beautiful vintage condition. NOT brand-new, but all responsibly used, cared for, and stored. There is a bit of tape residue here and there, especially on the lidded stainless steel trays (which were held shut with masking tape for storage). A touch of “Goof-Off” tape remover (from Lowes) should do the trick. Alcohol bottles may need extra washing-out. Obviously, everything should be cleaned/sterilized before use! The sterilization/heating tray is missing its cord. Vintage cords generally come up for sale on Bay. To be clear, this is a lot of very NICE… THE BONUS COLLECTION (in video – but not in photos) IS NOT IN AS NICE CONDITION, WHICH IS WHY I’M JUST THROWING THOSE ITEMS IN AS A “BONUS”: use or toss.
