Rare Early 20th-Century Medical. All essential rubber parts are in lost-to-time condition. FEATURES AND CONDITION DETAILS… The instruments are stainless steel, and the carry case is tin plate over copper. You can see the copper showing through in a few spots from normal wear. Lovely antique condition, from a non-smoking environment. Signs of use, but not abuse. Please examine all photos. The rubber parts have total age loss (evidence that it is roughly 100 years old), so this kit’s value is for historical purposes only. This particular cautery kit is extremely rare; it may be the only surviving example of its series. There is no maker’s mark. The four little American flag stickers (one lost to time) on the inside of the lid suggest that it may have seen field use during WWII, but that is just conjecture. Perhaps the physician was simply showing patriotism. IS ANYTHING MISSING? I’ll be glad to answer any questions. The above is my good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues.
