A VERY OLD BOY SCOUTS OFFICIAL FIRST AID KIT. IN A METAL CONTAINER IN OUTSTANDING SHAPE, ABOUT 5X3.5X2 TALL WITH UNUSED CONTENTS THAT SEEM QUITE COMPLETE AND UNUSED. I WAS A SCOUT IN THE 60S AND WE HAD PLASTIC SO THIS IS 40S OR 50S I WOULD GUESS. MARKED MADE IN USA NOT CHINA……….. Please scroll down the page to see more pictures. Model E-1 by Ritter. Looks pretty nice with some paint wear–no dents. Porcelain top is nice as is the chrome. It still heats up and the valve for the water tank works ok. Light comes on in the panel when its heating. It does need a chromed pin or bolt put in where the foot pedal mechanism hooks to the lid up top—you can see I have a big center punch sticking in it right now for the pictures. Also the damper still works to put the lid down slow. It is 115 volts, 1230 watts. Wiring looks good and someone added a ground wire. It stands 34″ tall to the top of the cabinet–37″ to the top of the hinge, 19″ wide, 15 1/2″ deep with it being 18 to where the foot pedal sticks out. Serial 20E525 Good looking piece of old equipment. 1 3/4 hours from Washington DC. 10 minutes off of Exit 4 of Interstate 83 in Pa. This was made for the dental industry. Not certain the exact vintage (guessing 1950′s) but this is what I do know. Color: Pink and Black. Chair height fully elevated and adjustable back fully extended: approx. With adjustable back lowered approx 64. Back rest adjusts about 10 up and down. Seat height when fully elevated: approx. Overall height when lowered with back rest in upright position: approx. Overall length with backrest forward in upright position: approx. Width with arm rests in: approx. The base is approx. This beauty is also a beast. Weight is approx 300 pounds. Everything works like it’s supposed to. Step on a foot peddle (left or right) to slowly, steadily, quietly, and automatically raise the chair. Step on a different foot peddle (left or right) to slowly, steadily, quietly and automatically lower. Chrome handle in center of back manually raises and lowers back rest. Two handles pull out to manually adjust arm rests. Chrome handle on side of back manually adjusts the angle of the back rest. Foot peddle on the right locks chair in place so it won’t spin. Upholstery is quite new with absolute slightest cosmetic issues. Notice the artistic scroll work stitching on the side of the chair. The ONLY condition issue I see is the upholstered top section of the left arm rest is a little loose. It’s attached to the bottom part of the arm rest with two screws and one of the screws has come loose. It’s an easy fix. I’ll fix it if you wish, or explain in more detail. Not much else wrong with this chair. In the photos you’ll notice some slight cosmetic scuffs but nothing major. You’ll be pleased. I’ll try to help.
