VINTAGE RARE Photo Prints Set of 2 Corporate Art Blood Warmer Medical 24×20 inch. This unique set of prints appear to be for a company that used to be called Fenwal out of Lake Zurich, IL. I would say they appear to be from the 70s or 80s. These photo prints are 24 x 20 inches in size, and are printed on Kodak paper. They were in frames that were silver and heavy but the glass was broken. One print has a tear on the finish from where it had stuck to the glass after so many years in storage. I had reached out to the company that these would have belonged to, but wasn’t able to get any information regarding them. They must have been in an office space or sales office to sell medical equipment to prospective buyers. Very different and unique!

The inhaler administered a drug called Trichloroethylene to mothers usually during labour. Trichloroethylene is known as Trilene. This type of inhaler was for pain relief. The patient inhaled the vapour just before each labour pain. Vintage Silver and Gold Objects displayed are not polished professionally or disturbed in any way in order to keep their patina/original condition. However sanitizing is applied and a slight cloth polishing is usually applied to stronger oxidation spots that might cause a problem to buyers. Lighting in my pictures is uneven and reflections and shadows might appear. I try to photograph in natural light to get as close to the original colors and shapes as possible. Photographs are taken in order to highlight problems and not hide them. DHL EXPRESS is then used for faster tracked deliveries.

Obstetrical gynecological irrigator invented by Dr. First patented in 1842. The device consists of a cylindrical metal reservoir of around 500 ml, in which a piston moves. At the top of the reservoir is a winding key to operate it. A tap is attached to the base of the device, to which a tube with an extended cannula can be fitted. The cylinder is stamped: “Irrigateur système du Docteur Eguisier, N°2 – Marque de Fabrique”, surrounded by 2 caducei. This strange medical instrument linked to feminine hygiene of a bygone era will find its place in a curiosity cabinet, a collection of antique medical equipment, or simply in a vintage setting.
