Breath-o-Life Vintage Medical Equipment Antique Oxygen Kit Rare 1950s

Vintage Breath-O’- Life emergency oxygen administration kit. Kit contains 2 metal oxygen containers (“disposable oxygen sheres”), a plastic funnel that attaches to the oxygen container, a plastic carrying case. This kit was at one time registered with the Voluntary Mobile Emergency Oxygen Dispensing Station Movement. Sender of this registration was to receive Identifying Insignia fo both “front and rear showing” and the kit was to be kept in their “motor vehicle” From late 50s, early 60s, or so I’m told. It’s very hard to find one of these kits with case. I know very litle about this piece. VINTAGE Medical Equipment Trunk. Red. MSA Chemox. Oxygen Breathing Apparatus

This was in my parents attic for a while, since the 80′s, after mom inherited the contents of her aunt’s house. It looks like it dates from the 50′s. Which would make sense, because I have a vague memory of old uncle Albert having some breathing difficulties. It’s pretty cool, and still very sturdy. Hinges and hardware all operate fine. The latches are a little sticky, but their just dry. A little dab of oil to them will smooth that out. Lid lines up perfect with base. All the brads are tight still. I think that border edging is a very heavy cardboard. You can see the condition in all the pics. If you are in the D. Which it has not! Ask any questions and thanks for looking.
