Wonderful Condition Makes this and Excellent Item for. Comparison Bridges such as this “link” two microscopes together so that a split view, one from each microscope is visible in the same field of view. Perhaps best known for use in forensics, comparing bullets, fibers, etc. But of course any objects appropriate for the microscope can be observed and compared. Please feel free to ask questions. This is a Spencer Microscope No. 116677 which indicates it is from 1929. (10x & 6x), blue glass disc, and another disc (that I can’t identify, but is in the photos). The microscope has a plain rectangular stage and a. There are some scratches or. On the rear of the base where an inventory plate was removed and on the front left of the base (visible in photos). Slight scratches on the lens boxes. The wooden box has seen some wear but is in good shape. I do not have the key for the case. This was a popular microscope in its day and was used in medical school environment. The microscope and case weigh 14.5 pounds.
