1970′s VINTAGE ALUMINIUM MEDICAL EQUIPMENT STORAGE CASE BOX – UNICEF SURPLUS. SUPERB QUALITY RETRO STORAGE BOX – WOULD MAKE A GREAT LUNCHBOX OR VEHICLE / EXPEDITION CASE. For sale here are genuine vintage 1970′s UNICEF surplus pressed aluminium storage boxes, marked with UNICEF on the lid these are superb quality lightweight containers, I do not know the original intended purpose but they very much look like the kind of thing medical equipment would be transported in. The cases have a folding grab handle on the lid and close with a pair of hinged spring latches, there is no seal on these boxes so they cannot be submersed in water. Boxes measure up as being manufactured in inches which lends me to presume they were originally made in America, on the internal dimensions they measure up approximately 12″ x 8.5″ x 5.5, they weigh 1.25kg. CONDITION: I have two boxes left, both are in the same condition, each appears unused but there are some light marks to the exterior from their time in storage. The hinges to the spring clips show light surface rust and the hinges may be a little bent but they work fine. These are beautiful looking things, incredibly cool these have 101 potential uses, I always intended to use one as a lunchbox! Last two left in stock, DO NOT MISS YOUR CHANCE!
