This is a estate found item. This is a rare medicial/sciencetific device. This is a Tektronix Oscilloscope Type 503. This is serial #008721. This powers up and has the blue line in the glass dome as seen in the photos. This is heavy weighing around 28 pounds. This measures about 21″ x 9 1/2″ x 14. The top has a handle for carrying. The unit has some wear and the back where the cord winds up is damaged. The bottom part is broken. There is some old tape residue on the front metal panel. The entire unit is made of metal. The cord is heavy duty 3 prong. The end of the cord is missing the cover see photo. This powers up and not sure how it operates but the blue light comes on and does different images depending on the settings. See close up photos for condition. Up for sale is (1) VINTAGE Tektronix 4662 Interactive Digital Plotter w/Opt. 31 8 Pen Control TESTED We have tested this item and it is in good working condition, however, the pen control buttons did not respond upon testing. Please refer to the test log below for further information. This item is in overall good physical condition, there is minor sticker residue, and there are scratches and scuff marks due to prior use, but no significant damage. There is a small amount of writing in black marker on the top and bottom right corner of the plotter. Listed below are the key functions tested and their results: Powers on, can move the pen hand around with joystick. Pen control buttons do not respond; may be problem with pen wheel motor. First power-on moves the pen head to the lower-right corner, but the indicator switch for resetting the pen head is missing the physical switch lever. Had to push it with flathead to reset it manually. Otherwise after that, all buttons work and head moves with joystick. Pen holder is broken. Missing Locate upper right key cap.
