HUGE Vintage CVC Consolidated Vacuum Stainless Steel Bell Jar 31+ID, 35+ Tall

Vintage CVC Consolidated Vacuum Stainless Steel Bell Jar. For sale- a very large stainless steel Bell Jar. This was part of an old CVC Consolidated Vacuum sputtering system that I have decided to part out. The bell jar is a little over 33 ¼ OD, and a bit over 31 ¾ ID. Which I thought was pretty weird as it was said to be a 30 bell jar, but obviously larger than that. The straight sides of the jar are 35 tall, not including the domed portion or the lift hook. It has one port, not sure if it was a viewing port or for some other attachment. If it was a viewing port the glass is gone, all that covers it is tape. The flange is 6 OD and roughly 4 ID. OK, pay attention, this is where it gets tricky. But if you also want the stainless base plate it sat on it is yours for the asking. So on the one hand all you have to do is say that you want it and its part of the deal. Also included if you want them are the four aluminum mounts that the base plate rested on. Also included the bolts that attached the next piece to the bottom of the base plate. Not included but available are the stainless manifold that fitted under the base plate and the Torr Vac bell jar lift/hoist, model 615700 and the associated hardware to attach it. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been tested. If you submit an offer you do so knowing that you cannot return it. In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item. The base plate is flat, the bell jar has a grooved base with a rubber gasket in it. Please check out my other listings for more interesting lab, test, and optical equipment. If the functional condition of the item is known it will be stated as such in the listing. Residential deliveries, deliveries that require liftgates, deliveries to the boonies, and deliveries to schools or universities will all be more because it takes longer for the carrier to get the job done. If you would prefer to use another carrier thats fine. The BOL should have all the info filled out when I receive it, blank copies are unacceptable. The free listing tool.
