I found this beauty in the attic of a home where I’m conducting a huge estate liquidation project. It was up there in the attic frozen in time since the 1930s. At the turn of the century, J & J was catering to the industrial surge America was going through. Manufacturing was popping up all across the country so these medical cabinets were a way to cater to the first aid needs of America’s factories. Not only is this cabinet in excellent shape for being 100 years old – the colors and wording on the front really pop – but it also has many of its original medicines and remedies still intact. It doesn’t have everything it originally came with but it’s got enough to make it a very special piece of history. It even comes with its original wall hanging hooks so it can be re-purposed today as an impressive in bathroom medical cabinet. PLEASE ask any and all questions now as I would really rather not have to take a return. This beauty is as described – what else would you like to know?
