S. Mawson & Sons 1800s vintage medical equipment Enema Syringe

Mawson & Sons of London, 1800s vintage medical equipment Enema Syringe. Device is 11 x 2. These were used by doctors, but at the time barbers also provided various medical services. Dates to the mid to late 1800′s for the injection of various fluids into the rectum for the treatment of constipation. A blunt tip reduced the risk of injury to the rectum. Looks like it is cast bronze. A unique addition to any medical equipment collection.

VINTAGE GI JOE 1964 MARINE COMBAT MEDIC Plus ACCESSORIES 1965 #7719

VINTAGE GI JOE 1964 MARINE COMBAT MEDIC Plus MEDIC ACCESSORIES 1965. This GI Joe is in nice STANDARD used condition, a little loose. The Accessories are in good condition and nearly complete. I have included the pictures and the equipment list from the GI Joe Encyclopedia. The missing parts are the Medic Flag and pole, the Splints and the correct Helmet. I have included a covered canteen and very nice Field Radio. The set includes in total. Stretcher which is broken on one of the underside folding pieces, but it doesn’t take away from the look or functionality of the stretcher. Stethoscope (complete) repaired nicely. Plasma bottle with needle (complete). Triangle gause bandage secured with the original pin. 2 red cross armbands. 1964 GI Joe dressed in Combat Medic Fatigues. Green Combat Helmet, Missing Medic Insignia. Canteen, Tan Canteen Cover. Gear and Equipment Manual. GI Joe Club Folder. 1850s BENNINGTON ROCKINGHAM CROUP KETTLE MEDICAL INHALER WithORIGINAL 2 TUBE TOP

Here’s a very scarce early Bennington “Croup Kettle” or medical inhalator pot from the 1850 era with its original cork stopper with 2 glass inhaler tubes! You can see a similar croup kettle pictured on page 113, plate 159 in Richard Barret’s book on “Bennington Pottery & Porcelain”. The kettle is round with large footed base ring that has a vent tube protruding….. 6 1/4″tall (6 3/4″with cork stopper) x 4 3/4across base….. Yellowware body with mottled brown Rockingham slip glaze….. Rare original cork stopper with 2 clear glass tubes…. It has some heat stress cracking on the bottom surface only; no other damage. This croup kettle was used as a medical vaporizer or inhaler when someone had the croup or sickness. THIS IS A FIXED PRICE ITEM FOR SALE IN MY STORE.
