The battery is currently on its last leg of life, it only stays charged for a few minutes and will require a new battery. I just replaced the bulb in the otoscope so that should be brand new and last you a long time! The ophthalmoscope light works, there is a small black speck in the vision field of the ophthalmoscope but that does not affect its functionality at all. Otoscope head: can’t find model number.
