The Scientific Kit with microscope is in great condition. The kit is from the late 1950s to early 1960s and it is more than 60 years old. It is from an estate sale. The item as far as I can ascertian is unused is in like new old stock conditon. The wood cabinet is beautiful and if it is polished with a finisher it will look even more amazing. The microscope kit is for educational purposes, so this is not a professional item by any means. It is a nice period piece of scientific history. The model is approximately 37″ tall and 16″ wide. Mostly complete, looks like it’s missing the left lung perhaps part of the vertebrae, there’s a place for a breast to attach for the female version. It has some scuffs here and there and some normal wear. It looks like the swivel part of the pedestal has been repaired but does not affect the ability to rotate the torso. It does wobble a bit and perhaps that’s because of the repair but it may also be something that’s normal. Sits up well and sturdy on any flat surface. Seems to be all original with the exception of one of the knobs for moving stage. The lamp house includes a bulb. No power supply for the lamp or for the internals of the microscope are included.
