IT RUNS–I RAN IT FOR A VERY SHORT TIME AND IT WAS FINE–THAT BEING SAID YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES(# 10,13) THAT THE CORD HAS BEEN REPAIRED SEVERAL TIMES AND THE PULLY HAS A LOT OF ISSUES. We are offering an antique field surgery kit in the original box, which measures about 17″ x 5.75″ x 2. This incredible kit was used by Dr. Fleckenstine of Philadelphia around the turn of the century. This kit includes such tools as scalpels, forceps, pliers, and a trocar, among others. Not all the original pieces are present, but the kit would still be very functional for field surgery. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection. The Luer a Paris company was famous for their high quality medical instruments, and both the box and instruments themselves are marked with their name. Very good condition with expected age-related wear. Some of the original pieces have been swapped or are missing. The metal has some wear and rust. Boy Scouts of America First Aid Kit, Johnson & Johnson 1940 Rare Antique Set

This vintage Boy Scouts of America First Aid Kit from 1940 is a complete set and includes everything a young Scout would need to provide first aid to their fellow troop members. The kit features supplies from Johnson & Johnson and is an excellent addition to any historical memorabilia collection. All original Johnson & Johnson first aid kit contents never used picture shows iodine bottle leaked and stained tin and cardboard box. I did not try to clean and kept all items in original form only to take out for pictures. The burn ointment and the digestive tablets taken out of boxes for picture purposes only. The first aid tape never used, the gauze packages never opened and all items are still sealed. The Johnson & Johnson fist aid booklet has no stains, rips, bent pages, slight discoloration from age. The 1940′s tin has scuff marks, the original latch works properly. The original tweezer is broken and missing part of the tweezer. Please review this extra rare and hard to find complete Boys Scouts of America first aid tin with complete kit. Please ask any questions prior to purchasing this vintage collectible. The Johnson & Johnson first aid book is dated 1940. The kit is perfect for collectors or anyone interested in the Boy Scouts of America.
