1930s Bausch & Lomb – Charles Lentz – Vintage Antiquarian Hand Operated Swing Bucket Centrifuge. Vintage antiquarian Hand operated swing bucket centrifuge appears to be complete and spins freely. The pictures are of the actual item you will receive and are a good representation of its condition. As smoothly as this centrifuge spins, it could have been made yesterday. Brass instrument with removable wooden handle. Holds two centrifuge tubes. Used for rapid settling of suspended solids from small quantities of liquid in analytical or clinical procedures. Manufactured by Charles Lentz & Sons and Bausch + Lomb. Charles Lentz & Sons were manufacturers and distributors of surgical instruments, microscopes, and other medical products including non-corrosive steel instruments, laboratory apparatus and glassware, x-ray equipment and accessories, therapeutic lamps and electrical equipment, and other hospital supplies.
