Sterling Silver Hallmarked Doctors Torch Medical Equipment Working. Marked by the London Assay office in 2013. Unused item just which was bought as old stock. A useful and unusual sterling silver gift for anyone especially a doctor or vet. A great pocket or briefcase item with a useful clip. A lovely sized torch at just over 5 1/2 inches in length or 14.2 cm. A heavy 56.6 grams when ready for use which is not all silver weight but includes the batteries and metal parts. The main engine turned part is all silver and the clip and button along with the housing for the lamp is rhodium plated metal. These working parts would be too soft to make in silver. The torch takes 2 x AAA batteries which are not included and a small torch lamp which is included. Just add the batteries and you have a working torch. The discreet hallmarks are placed near to the top of the torch and have been applied by the London Assay office to their own size specification and are placed next to the 925 mark for sterling silver.
