A vintage medical device! This is a Barron Pump made by Oro Manufacturing of Adrian, Michigan! From what I have read on a Henry Ford website, this was tested by Henry Ford hospital and the Chrysler Corporation in the 1940s and 1950s. It’s a feeding pump, to be used in a hospital, bedside setting to pump liquified food directly into patients who aren’t meeting nutritional needs. I can’t find any other examples of these available online, I’m assuming not many were made or kept after their use in hospitals. I don’t have any feeding tubes for it. The unit does power on; the light on the side comes on and a gear in the bottom spins but it’s not fully tested. I don’t have any tubes for it. There are some scuffs, scratches, and color loss to the piece. Ill come as shown, so please see photos! MEASUREMENTS: Unit measures approximately 10 1/2″ x 6″ x 6 at furthest points. Carrier available to your zip code than what is listed first. The “not as described” return option is not to be used to resolve damaged item cases. I attached a photo of an old ad for the pump to this listing.. It’s not included, just for reference!
