There is no markings on this item to indicate who it was made by, which makes me think it was not something that was mass produced. Not sure of a date either, but i’d estimate it to be 50s or 60s, definitely not a new one, and if you take a look at the ones they make now, you can tell its age. This item is not in perfect condition, but it is in really good condition for its age, and priced accordingly. Item shows some wear throughout, consistent with age. Only shows one area that appears to have an attempt at fixing a crack, shows some minor cracks and chips to the paint throughout. The head is missing one pin (currently has one) so it is not as sturdy as it could be, but thats an easy fix. This is a great item for any collector, and at this price, it will not last long so if it catches your eye, i’d jump on it! Up for sale is a very large vintage Bobbit Laboratories anatomical heart model. It is very intricately made with lifelike detailing and beautifully painted by hand with bright vibrant color. Each part of the heart is also marked with letters to be able to identify which part it is. The piece comes apart in several sections and have metal rods that hold it together. It sits on a routed wooden base and has Bobbit Lab plaque on the front. In very nice condition and measures 15 1/4 inches tall my 16 inches wide by 13 inches wide. Vintage CVC Consolidated Vacuum Stainless Steel Bell Jar. For sale- a very large stainless steel Bell Jar. This was part of an old CVC Consolidated Vacuum sputtering system that I have decided to part out. The bell jar is a little over 33 ¼ OD, and a bit over 31 ¾ ID. Which I thought was pretty weird as it was said to be a 30 bell jar, but obviously larger than that. The straight sides of the jar are 35 tall, not including the domed portion or the lift hook. It has one port, not sure if it was a viewing port or for some other attachment. If it was a viewing port the glass is gone, all that covers it is tape. The flange is 6 OD and roughly 4 ID. OK, pay attention, this is where it gets tricky. But if you also want the stainless base plate it sat on it is yours for the asking. So on the one hand all you have to do is say that you want it and its part of the deal. Also included if you want them are the four aluminum mounts that the base plate rested on. Also included the bolts that attached the next piece to the bottom of the base plate. Not included but available are the stainless manifold that fitted under the base plate and the Torr Vac bell jar lift/hoist, model 615700 and the associated hardware to attach it. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been tested. If you submit an offer you do so knowing that you cannot return it. In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item. The base plate is flat, the bell jar has a grooved base with a rubber gasket in it. Please check out my other listings for more interesting lab, test, and optical equipment. If the functional condition of the item is known it will be stated as such in the listing. Residential deliveries, deliveries that require liftgates, deliveries to the boonies, and deliveries to schools or universities will all be more because it takes longer for the carrier to get the job done.
