Vintage 1940/50′s Master Bioscope microscope projector medical lab equipment. We are pleased to be able to offer this very unusual microscope. This piece of equipment is designed to project an image of whatever is on the glass side that is mounted in it. So if you what to throw pictures on a larger viewing surface this was the equipment you use. This is a heavy duty piece of equipment, the body is a very stylish piece of cast Aluminum. I have seen other versions of this piece of equipment in a matte black finish. The polished aluminum surface of this unit would seem to be better suited to a lab environment, easier to keep cleanThe base is a very stable horseshoe style. The projector head looks like it can be rotated up to 90 degrees. This projector stands approximately 26 inches tall, the base is approximately 10 inches front to back and 11 inches wide. This Microscope/projector weighs approximately 13 pounds 7.5 ounces. Condition- This piece looks to be in good condition. It could benefit from a nice cleaning and polish. We plugged it in and we found that the bulb has burned out, so if you want to actually want to use it, then you will need to replace the bulb. For Sale is a real classic, an absolute tank of a Leitz Ortholux trinocular polarizing microscope. 700,000 by 1867, and he said that this means the’scope probably dates to either 1957 or 1868. This thing is a real beast and it has functions and features I have never seen before in a microscope and don’t know how to use or test. It’s missing the eyepieces and objectives, but I was able to affect a test with some other eyepieces NOT INCLUDED! And simply hand-holding the objective from a scrap B&L StereoZoom, which revealed a nice, clear optical path, although it certainly will need a thorough cleaning if you intend to use this in a production environment or other serious purpose. The extraneous functions were not tested because I simply don’t know how to use this thing. The friendly informant also pointed out that there in fact IS an illuminator mounted to this unit (on the nosepiece turret) but that there is no condenser carrier or condenser (I’m not sure if “condenser” in this context means “Capacitor” or something to do with optics). He also pointed out that the configuration and type suggest it was likely applied in the metallurgical fields. Unit is very heavy.
