Vintage Welch Allyn Diagnostic Otoscope Ophthalmoscope Set Bakelite Case WORKS

Vintage Welch Allyn Diagnostic Otoscope Ophthalmoscope Complete Set! This set comes with a an early Ophthalmoscope head. The head is marked USA, Patent 165177. The ophthalmoscope has its light bulb and is in working condition. It has all 5 attachments. The case measures 8.5″ x 4″ when closed. It is hinged in the back and has a zipper closure. The case is bakelite with old style padding in the interior. Overall EXCELLENT condition for its age. Shows very little signs of scuffs, scrapes, marks. Some marks may come off with cleaning not guaranteed. Father acquired it while on the DMZ in the 70′s! Batteries Not Included but takes TWO D batteries. I was told this was all working when it was decided to be no longer used or replaced or whatever their reason was but it was all working then. I’m not an eye doctor but I put this together, plugged it up and turned it on and there is light. I will also include the battery pack not pictured but I can’t get it to work so that part will not be guaranteed. All the lenses/glass etc seems to be in great condition, everything looks super nice, like it wasn’t used much and you can tell great care was taken with this piece of equipment. Make me a reasonable offer. I don’t have a license to sale medical equipment so I have to list it as collectible or vintage and not for USE. Welch Allyn Diagnostic Set- Otoscope and Ophthalmoscope with Vintage Leather Case

Welch Allyn diagnostic otoscope and ophthalmoscope set with rechargeable handle. The handle is model 71050, it takes a rechargeable battery. The battery is currently on its last leg of life, it only stays charged for a few minutes and will require a new battery. I just replaced the bulb in the otoscope so that should be brand new and last you a long time! The ophthalmoscope light works, there is a small black speck in the vision field of the ophthalmoscope but that does not affect its functionality at all. Otoscope head: can’t find model number. Also comes with 15 disposable tips for the otoscope. Comes in a vintage brown leather Welch Allyn case- I have never seen another case like this, its in great shape!
