Up for sale is a vintage Pelton Crane sterilizer or autoclave. Model FL2 – 18511. In very nice original condition. I ran it 3 times according to the instructions on the top. See the last picture for a shot of the gauges working. The valve to empty the tank is kind of hard to turn – I had to use pliers. It does work fine. Cord and switch in very nice shape. I would have hit with chrome polish but decided against it because of the heat factor. I leave that to you. This weighs 38 pounds and will be well packed. This one heats up just fine but the cord is brittle and should likely be replaced which looks fairly simple. Otherwise the chrome could use a polishing but it is damage free and presents itself very well. The hard to find original stand is not included in this listing but is available on this site in a separate listing. When you forget to turn off control switch and sterilizer boils dry, current will be automatically disconnected by thermostat in approximately four minutes. Until turned off by hand, thermostat turns current on intermittently for approximately six minutes out of each hour during which time temperature in tray maintains approximately 180 degrees average.
