Antique Victorian Magneto electric machine. The mechanism cranks ok brass gearing a a large horseshoe magnet – small turned wood handle – key to lock. The lock is a little sticky through age but still works. There are no’handles or wiring’ but these are easily constructed with some simple wire and some copper tubing. THIS IS A MOST UNUSUAL AND RARE ANTIQUE (c late 1800s / early 1900s) ITEM OF FRENCH GYNECOLOGICAL / MEDICAL COLLECTIBLE – A’VERITABLE IRRIGATEUR SYSTEME’ HAND OPERATED PRESSURE SYSTEM, VAGINAL PUMP / IRIGATOR. THESE MACHINES WERE PATENTED IN 1842, BY THE INVENTOR, Dr MAURICE EGUISIER. THEY WERE STILL BEING PRODUCED UNTIL THE 1920s. THE BRONZE COATED IRON MACHINE WHICH MEASURES 23cm HIGH X 8.7cm DIAMETER. STANDS ON A PEDESTAL SHAPED BASE. AT THE TOP OF THE ROUND PROFILE BODY, IS A SCREW OFF TOP SECTION, WITH A HINGED HOPPER. NEXT TO THIS IS A COILED SPRING WITHIN A DRUM. Antique Wooden Wicker Back & Seat Wheelchair 4 Wheels with Potty Chair. Measures approximately 42-1/2″T x 27-1/4″W x 32D. Wicker needs to be repaired see pics#11-12. Chair has 4 wheels instead of the 3 wheels. Most all wheelchairs had a potty chair but most models came with a porcelain bucket underneath. This model has a slide out metal bin drawer from the back see pics#4&6. Rubber on the wheels is cracked and warped due to age see pics#8-9. Pic#13 shows the crank knob to loosen and tighten to lie the wheelchair down for easy sleeping-our handle is rusted and will need some TLC coaxing to move-legs move up and own esily see pics#7&10.
