I found this beauty in the attic of a home where I’m conducting a huge estate liquidation project. It was up there in the attic frozen in time since the 1930s. At the turn of the century, J & J was catering to the industrial surge America was going through. Manufacturing was popping up all across the country so these medical cabinets were a way to cater to the first aid needs of America’s factories. Not only is this cabinet in excellent shape for being 100 years old – the colors and wording on the front really pop – but it also has many of its original medicines and remedies still intact. It doesn’t have everything it originally came with but it’s got enough to make it a very special piece of history. It even comes with its original wall hanging hooks so it can be re-purposed today as an impressive in bathroom medical cabinet. Made by the Brooklyn Hospital Equipment Company, Inc. Of Pennsylvania and N. This beveled glass and steel medical cabinet has interior adjustable metal brackets in the corners and does come with 3 glass shelves for this space (not shown). This would make a great product / display case for just about any item. There is an upper handle latch for the top cabinet doors and there are three lower cabinet drawers for storage as well as a lower cabinet with door and latch. Antique barber cabinet by Sterilizer. Has a few minor scratches on top but in real nice condition overall especially the Sterilizer decal on glass. Includes the two glass shelves. I love the cabinet and used it to store pipe tobacco but I just don’t have the room anymore. Great for curios or collectables etc. These are going up in price. This is a lovely vintage medical supply cabinet with ample storage including an interior narcotics box. The piece has painted white upper cabinet doors, with turn lever operation. There are 3 pull out drawers, and one lower cabinet with an interior stainless shelf. The metal is in good condition, all of the drawers and doors work. There is no key for the narcotic box but it does open and close. The hinges all have a touch of corrosion, but the doors open and close easily. On the foot plate of the piece are a few small round holes. Size: 69″Hx36″Wx16D.
