PVL Twin Ignition for 2 Cylinder 180° for RD 250 /350 / 400 with Adapterplate. The ignition system consists of. 2 x analog Coil 458 100. 2 x Spark plug cab 403030. 1 x Twinstator 1087 with 4500 Winches per Stator. 1 x Rotor for Yamaha RD. 2 x Spark plug. 1 x Adapterplate Yamaha RD. We have all PVL / Selettra Ignitions on Stock. We can supply also individual components such as stator, rotor, coil and base plates. PVL is known for its quality and has built thousands of different ignition systems in Germany. The ignition curve adjusts by 13 degrees KW, ignition adjustment has been tested for speeds of up to 20,000 rpm. This ignition system has proven its worth during sprint races, short track , speedway. Due to the low number of windings in the stator it does not become as hot as stators with a higher number of windings because the wire in the stator is thicker. The ignition is suitable for clockwise and anticlockwise turning engines and can be installed also for other engines such as, for instance, Minarelli, Peugeot, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, KTM, Morini (if necessary, a specific adapter plate has to be built for the stator). As compared with conventional ignition systems, the internal rotor ignition is clearly more agile due to the lower gyrating mass of the rotor approx. 350 grams and the engine accelerates faster. In addition, the ignition setting is noticeable in the supreme performance. The PVL ignition system is stable up to 20,000 rpm. Tuned racing engines run without problems with the PVL ignition system. The ignition time must be set according to the tuning level. We speak German and English. Tuned components may be used in public road traffic only if the tuned components have been registered by TÜV and the modified data of the vehicle have been licensed by the responsible District Office.
