The label on the inside of the lid is dated to 2/39, which I I understand indicates it dates from February 1939. The black painted metal trunk measures approximately 17.5″ x 7.5″ x 6.5 and bears the crest of George VI. Was established in the English royal household in 1378 to oversee the building and maintenance of the royal castles and residences. It was reconstituted as a government department in 1851 and became part of the Ministry of Works in 1940.
THIS IS AN ITEM FROM AN ESTATE, THE ITEM IS FULL OF VINAGE RARE MEDICAL ITEMS FROM WAYYYYY BACK!!!! PLEASE READ – Regarding our business with you & our obligations to you. It is not our side business. It is not home-based operation. Our items range from small watersport parts to large entertainment systems and furniture. Because we never know what we will have in stock – if you see an item that only has a Qty of 1 listed, it is very likely that is the only one we have and we will not be able to tell you when we have another. We will not see them. We have listed all model information that we have available. We strive to provide all information that we have on hand and do our best to describe and photograph every part. In the case of vehicle, appliance, and watersport parts: we cannot guarantee that this part will fit, only an authorized dealership can do that. The best way to do this is to call a dealership and have them verify that this is the appropriate part number for your application. The overwhelming majority of what we sell is used. If we say the item works, then it was tested to the best of our ability. All items and contents are described to the best of our ability. We examine all items and supply all available make/model information. We will try to answer all questions in a timely manner. IT WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL COST.
