The Bell Jar is in excellent estate fresh condition with no chips, cracks, flakes, scratches or hazing; there are minute flea bites around the base edge of the flange. Bell Jar measures 11″ tall and 6 1/4″ across the base. This piece will make an excellent centerpiece or terrarium and should still hold a vacuum for lab use. VTG Pyrex Conical 2600 m Flat Bottom Flask Boiling Chemistry Antique Glass 100ml

This vintage Pyrex flask is weird, cool, and pretty all at the same time!! Just picture some long stem flowers in red-colored water or picture it as a terrarium! This conical flask is old! The lip has a little curve in it – a beautiful imperfection. Also, notice there are no markings indicating measurements. This flask does have a flat bottom which leads us to believe that you can boil in this flask. Check gage blocks or lapped and polished surfaces. Easily measure surface flatness down to /20 at 632.8nm. Optical Flats are basic for testing flatness because they are easy to use and very accurate. Davidson Precision Optical Flats enable non-technical workers to measure from 0.000 1 inch (2.54 m) down to 0.000 001 inch (0.025 m) without special skills or auxiliary equipment, except for a monochromatic light source.
