Vintage 1960s USSR device for suturing blood vessels. Apparatus for suturing large blood vessels (ASC-20). It is used for traumatic injuries, aneurysms, plastic surgery, restorative and reconstructive operations. The photo with the inscription RIA shows the instrument in complete condition.
This is a vintage medical kit made for marine use. It has a seal on the metal lid making it water tight. It still has vintage medical items inside. This is great for a collection or the case could definitely be repurposed. The case measures 8 inches by 5 inches and is 2.75 inches thick.

Steel knife 9also handle for reflex hammer. Sterile case for needle. Special Emergency treatment instructions. Reflex hammer with pin (use steel knife for handle). Flashlight (needs new battery). Stethoscope tubing and attachments (tubing may be used as a tourniquet). The only thing missing is G – Five vials to contain medication for injection. It could be possible that it came with the spaces for the vial to be supplied by you. But not the actual vials with medication in them.
