The stool is in “GOOD” condition. No tears or rips were seen and all the wheels smoothly roll together. Super comfortable to sit in and easy to adjust. Great for a medical office. For sale here is a vintage Olympus Photomax microscope in very good cosmetic condition with light wear and tear from use evident. Seems to be all original with the exception of one of the knobs for moving stage. The lamp house includes a bulb. No power supply for the lamp or for the internals of the microscope are included. The image is sharp. All controls go through their motions. It will need to be cleaned and lubed for optimum performance. Included are what is shown in the many photos. Then it had a second life as a chair for a barber in the Grand Rapids area. He acquired it because his neighbor installed Dental Equipment for a local company in Grand Rapids at the time. This chair came out of a dental office in the area back in the 1960′s. The gentleman that used it, removed the headrest at some point and used it to cut hair in his basement for family and Friends. Those two lives are now passed and it is ready for a new home and new life in a man cave or even a living room for a dentist or dental assistant. Or, maybe you’re a hairdresser or barber and want to put smiles on your clients face with this fun piece of history. As you can see from the pictures this piece has been well cared for. Vintage Bausch & Lomb Compound Microscope w/ Eye Pieces. Objective Lenses & Case. Circa late 1930s to 1940s. Interesting about this case is that it has a snap lock – However there is no key. Screws are all present three are screwed into the bottom of the lock and the other two are in the slide case. It appeared as though there was previously something in the box that the person who owned it prior to me wanted to get a hold of.. Not trying to sound mysterious but it was a little strange. Case is in great shape- very sound. I will pack the inside of the case with tissue paper to make sure that nothing moves in transit. From a large collection of curiosities.
