A WWII first aid kit in the original tin with most of the original contents. Great for re-enactment WWII field hospital, nursing station etc – or display in vintage chemist shop, living history museum etc – NOT SUITABLE FOR MEDICAL USE DUE TO AGE OF CONTENTS. The tin box is black with green art deco style graphics ” First Aid Equipment for Householders” Made in England by TJ Smith & Nephew LTd number H3. Paragon Brand trade mark. On the inside of the box is a list of contents and some basic first aid hints for treating minor injuries. INCLUDED – a First Aid to the Injured booklet St Johns Ambulance dated 1945. Boracic Lint, Picric Lint, Cotton Wool x3, Triangular bandages X 9, WOW bandages x 4, Caters zinc oxide, Aromatic Ammonia in tin, number of other bandages, safety pins, glass tube with small brush, roll of plasters, some thin lint fabric etc. Tin Measures approx 12 1/2 inches long – 10 inches wide and 2 inches deep.
