You are looking at a Medical Supply Company Metal First Aid box with 21 pieces of first aid equipment. This kit comes from an industrial warehouse but is in remarkably good condition considering the age and environment. All contents pictured come with the kit as well. Rare Vintage Circa 1950′s First Aid Kit Complete by IDEAL – Metal Tin. I have been collecting for over 40 years and collect and sell all kinds of bits from antiques and rare or vintage collectables, to retro toys and Art Deco pottery and glass! Please bookmark me, as I will be moving my inventory over and will be adding new bits all the time! A great rare find in fabulous vintage condition! Whether your a collector of vintage tins or medical memorabilia, this is indeed a great little thing! Made by IDEAL in Gt. Britain circa the 1950′s, this First Aid Kit is in amazing condition for its age. Complete with all its bits, including a near full mint condition tin of “Band-Aid” plasters! Please have a look at the photos to see what is included. Fabulous bright colours and clean white lithography on the front, with a great little illustration of a period 1950′s or so nurse; very Carry On! The tin has some minor dings and scratches and the lid has some dried-glue-like remnants (not offensive). The Savlon has been opened and so is only for display. A great little find for the collector or film studio as an original vintage period prop!

Included: Original metal box w/ locks & carrying handle, foille ointment, gauze bandage, P. P iodine swabs, gauze compresses, sterile irrigating solution, triangular bandage, non-adherent adhesive bandage, bandage compress, adhesive plaster. SIZE: metal box is 8″ length x 5″ width x 2 1/2 height. DEFECTS/FLAWS: This is a NEW NEVER USED VINTAGE EXPIRED item. There are minor defects including scattered dirt stains, scratches and scuff marks on the metal box-see pictures. The original supplies inside are still sealed except for the gauze bandage box where the seal has been broken. The foille ointment box appears to have leaked but is still sealed. These supplies are OUTDATED and have EXPIRED.

It is stamped right on the hardware and most of the contents are 100% pre 1930. But just incase something from the 40s, I don’t want any problems, some of this stuff is impossible to date so I have to go off of what I can find. It is all authentic and very cool. The wound clips are full in one box and about half or so full in the other all the glass syringes will be packed with care. The big one on the left is crazy! There is plenty of very long spinal needles and all sorts of gauges and lengths. The little envelopes have the wire gauge in them except one. The little green pack with the b-p (bard-parker) has blades in it. I didn’t open it in fear of messing it up but I can feel them. The little Gillette blades box is empty but as you can see it displays well and has a pack inside that is empty but again displays well and is in great shape. If you have any questions please ask me. Comes from a non smoking home. I got thos stuff from a friend in the lab department at my local hospital in a trade. Her grandfather was a surgeon who collected old surgery equipment. There is still some items including the original bag listed. Willi g to bundle the items all up if interested in any of the other medical related listings I have still active. Thanks so much again.

VINTAGE US ARMY FIRST AID METAL BOX. From Davis Equipment patent 1924. Box measures 9″ by 9″ and is 2.5 wide. Shows quite a bit of wear but still a cool piece for display or your military type collection. Please message me if you have any further questions.
