These are hard to come by so rare treat. Marking on instruments of company I don’t recognize it. Shows sign of wear from age and used. Might have lite rust. Surface might need a clean. Great addition to any Collection of Oddities, Display, Art, Photography and for Movie making. Gift to Doctor or Dentist. Discount is different for each order. Vintage Antique Lot of Medical Tools Orthopedic Devices Mira Shapers Cutters

There are a total of 8 objects that have handles with round heads. The heads are various sizes and appear to have a sort of blade. Most are marked with the word Mira and what I assume may be a size such as AA, 4A, AC, B, etc… One handle does have a bit more writing on it and reads “Mira 6400A-12, Dia: 2″, Size: AA. There is an additional similar shaped piece – handle with a round head that seems to have 2 “blade-like” pieces, although I think it would have originally had 3. All 9 of these items come with cotton type cloth coverings for the heads as shown. There are 3 additional pieces. I have no idea what these are called, but the one that is sort of like a file/scraper appears to be marked with the words German Stainless. Vintage Medical equipment SET OF 3 1800s LARYNGOLOGICAL SURGICAL TOOLS

SET OF 3 PRE-1900 LARYNGOLOGICAL SURGICAL TOOLS. Uncertain date of manufacture but certainly 19th century. The mouth spreader and tonsil guillotine are both fully functional. The adenoid guillotine is frozen in its current position and will require some lubrication and/or effort to get the slider to move again. Mouth spreader spans 7 inches, with a maximum 2 inch spread. The two guillotines are each 9 inches in length. Note that the tonsil guillotine is the device with the ring on both ends, while the adenoid guillotine has a ring on one end and a half-circle box on the other. Condition: Each of the tools shows a scattering of tarnish. The tonsil guillotine has three small spots where the chrome has been scraped off the surface of the underlying iron.
