This antique electrotherapy equipment is a unique piece of history from the pre-1930s era. Left and right foot. I’m not exactly sure what medical problem these were for. There are no markings anywhere. They are about 9 inches tall. 7 inches from heel to toe.
Very RARE item in excellent condition. Comes with Vial, pamphlet, and box. On the side of the original box, is a sticker that has the name of the pharmacy (BOIES Pharmacy, Turlock, CA). Expiration date on the vile is 1968. The line on the top flap is where it was originally sealed, it is not a crease. I have not seen another one of these, in this condition. The LAST 2 pictures, show the Polio Vaccine Vial and box that is in the Smithsonian Museum collection. As you can see, the one in this listing is in superior condition.

Items are in varying degrees of condition, most are just great display items and should not be used for any health care. Please review all photos carefully. This is a lot from a huge collection of memorabilia spanning the late 1800s to 1960s, encompassing the famous Goodnight and Allen families who lived and ranched in Texas. They did not know anything more than is seen in the photos and documentation, and could not pinpoint where the items came from. I do not have any more information other than what you see and read. Bonjour de Bourgogne ;. Antique French medical instrument, Dr. Eguisier’s gynecological Irrigator, 19th century for Cabinet of curiosities. Obstetrical gynecological irrigator invented by Dr. First patented in 1842. The device consists of a cylindrical metal reservoir of around 500 ml, in which a piston moves. At the top of the reservoir is a winding key to operate it. A tap is attached to the base of the device, to which a tube with an extended cannula can be fitted. The cylinder is stamped: “Seul véritable Irrigateur du Docteur Eguisier, T2M, Marque de Fabrique” Medal 1849, Awarded 1867. This strange medical instrument linked to feminine hygiene of a bygone era will find its place in a curiosity cabinet, a collection of antique medical equipment, or simply in a vintage setting. Approximate size: Height 22.5 cm (9). Diameter : 8.5 cm (3 3/8). Weight : 0.845 kg. All our items come from France. They are all used.
